F*ck Cancer
Why
We Fight
I didn't start Burlyman Granola to fight cancer. I started it to make the best damn protein granola on the planet. But cancer has a way of showing up uninvited, and at some point, you stop pretending it's a coincidence and start calling it what it is: the fight of our lives.
Five years ago, my mother was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. She fought like hell and beat it. Then, before any of us could exhale, bladder cancer. She's still fighting that one. My aunt died of breast cancer when I was a teenager—too young to fully understand the weight of it, but old enough to remember everything. My step-grandmother, one of the kindest humans I've ever known, was taken by pancreatic cancer. Two of my close friends have been diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in the last decade. Last year, one of my good friends—who I would have claimed was the healthiest, most fit guy in our friend group, a man who never smoked a day in his life—was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
This list is not exhaustive, and unfortunately, will continue to grow.
I'm not a scientist. I'm not a doctor. I'm a guy who makes granola. But I refuse to build something and not use it to fight back. So here's the deal:
goes directly to cancer research.
Not during awareness month. Not as a limited-time promotion. Every bag. Every time.
When you grab a bag of Burlyman, you're funding the scientists and researchers and support systems working to aid the lives of those affected, cure and prevent these diseases.
We are partnering with organizations that put your money where it matters most: into research, into trials, and patient support.
Cancer doesn't care how healthy you are. It doesn't care how strong you are. It doesn't care how good you are. But we do. And we're going to keep fighting until it has nowhere left to hide.
The 10% Promise
Ten percent of profits from every single bag of Burlyman Granola goes directly to cancer research. Not during awareness month. Not as a limited-time promotion. Every bag. Every time.
We are partnering with organizations that put your money where it matters most—not into overhead, not into awareness campaigns, but into the work that actually moves the needle.
